Machine Repair - Full-time / Part-time

Job DescriptionStamping Experience a MUST!JOB SUMMARY :Install, maintain, test, troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical equipment and associated electrical and electronic controls under the direction of the Maintenance Manager.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :- As Safety is a Principle, all employees are required to accept safety as a principle and support the implementation and expansion of a safety culture.- As part of support for this safety culture, this role must be able to quickly deal with safety issues brought to the attention and make corrective changes- All employees are required to enforce company policies and procedures including those related to safety and employee work rules- Must be able to work with overhead crane, lift truck, boom truck, aerial lift, etc- Need knowledge of basic rigging- Must be able to ARC/MIG weld to perform basic repairs or fabrication- Need understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics- Need to be able to repair/rebuild machinery such as but not limited to stamping presses, robots and conveyors- Need to be ale to use basic machine tools such as lathe, mill, radial drill, etc- Must be able to or willing to lean to tend a robotic transfer (Fanuc and/or Comau) tandem press line- Knowledge of compressed air systems is a plus- Perform other duties as required from time to time by your by your Manager/SupervisorEDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:- Completion of Industrial electrician apprenticeship program.- College or industry courses in industrial electrical equipment.- Trade certification.- * EQUIPMENT AND/OR PRODUCT:- * * Various equipment including grinders, mills, lathes, MIG/TIG/ARC welders, robots and stamping WORKING CONDITIONS:- Manufacturing Environment (Union)- Ability to react appropriately in stressful situations while working in -Just in Time- environment.- Overtime and Weekend work may be required- Metal stamping environment is a must- Shift - (2nd or 3rd - seniority determines)- Must be environmentally consciousRequirementsRequired experience:- College or completion of Industrial Courses or Apprenticeship: 1 yearRequired education:- Associate Why Kelly®?At Kelly Services®, we work with the best.
