Apprentice Instrument Tech- FIRST SHIFT – 6:00AM - 2:30PM, Monday-Friday  Kelly Services is seeking individuals interested in an excellent career opportunity in the medical instrument industry. This is a temp to hire opportunity for first shift!  Job Description:  Under the oversight of a Surgical Instrument Maker, perform finishing manufacturing of hand-held surgical instruments  Perform filing, bending, brazing, polishing, and other manual manufacturing  Some work requires the use of a microscope  Perform Machine work including belting, grinding, and drilling  Use measurement instruments including micrometers and calipers    We have found successful  candidates with backgrounds working  as industrial or sewing, dental tech. Physical Requirements:  Lifting up to 20 lbs., seeing, standing, walking, sitting  Environmental Factors:  Machine shop environment  Grease, cutting fluids  Safety Glasses   Qualifications:  High School Diploma or equivalent  Mechanical aptitude  Good retention of information  Ability to repeat shapes  Superior manual dexterity  Minimum 1-2 years of assembly/production experience using calipers, micrometers, microscopes REQUIRED  Must have reliable transportation   * Please note* there is no public transportation to this location.  If interested, please email your resume to Stephanie at shirlsm@kellyservices.com    phone 585-430-9935         Why Kelly?  At Kelly Services®, we work with the best.
