Job Description- Provides microbiological testing of ingredients, finished products and environmental swabs within the Company Brand Manufacturing.- Oversees, trains, inspects and evaluates proper cleaning procedures.- Ensures and maintains standards to SQF certification program.- Ensures compliance with FDA, USDA, GMP and internal specifications.- This job profile is not meant to be all inclusive of the responsibilities of this position; may perform other duties as assigned or required.Requirements- Associate degree required.- Bachelor degree in Food Science preferred.- 2 years of relevant quality control experience in a distribution and/or manufacturing environment.- Able to establish priorities, work independently and proceed with objectives without supervision.- Able to communicate and handle quality control issues with a sense of urgency and importance.- Knowledge of sanitation procedures and product quality.- Knowledge of basic math principles.- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills .
