CNC Programmer / Operator

Job DescriptionPlans CNC program to control contour path machining of metal parts of automatic machine tools by means of magnetic or perforated tape. Analyzes part drawings, sketches and design data to determine dimension and configuration of cuts, selecting cutting tools and machine speeds and feeds according to knowledge of machine shop processes. Determines reference points and direction of machine cutting paths. Computes angular and linear dimensions and curvatures and outlines sequence of operations required to machine parts. RequirementsThis position will train on 1st shift and move to 2nd shift when training is complete. Aerospace experience preferred but not required.
