Job DescriptionThis is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door of a fast growing chemical company. You will be preparing and formulating various Fungicide & Insecticide custom blends. This will require a high level of focus and attention to detail throughout blending process. You will also provide additional support to production and management as required. All shifts are available!POSITION DESCRIPTION: PREPARE RAW MATERIALS AND FORMULATE VARIOUS CUSTOM BLENDS COMPLETE DAILY FORKLIFT CHECKLIST FOR UNIT USED IN BLENDING HAVE SAFETY-CONSCIENCE MINDSET IN WORKPLACE AT ALL TIMES BE EXPECTED TO ATTEND TO ANY SPILLS OR LEAKS THAT OCCUR IN WAREHOUSE TRANSFER MATERIALS FROM VARIOUS TANKS USING PNEUMATIC PUMPS HAVE WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF CUSTOM BLEND DOCUMENTATION & REGULATIONS PREP VARIETY OF CUSTOM BLEND CONTAINERS FOR SHIPMENT NOTIFY FORMULATION LEAD OR F & I SUPERINTENDENT OF ANY ISSUES THAT ARISE OPERATE FORKLIFT THROUGHOUT VARIOUS PROCESSES COMPLETE NECESSARY PAPERWORK REQUIRED THROUGHOUT PROCESS OPERATE FLOOR WEIGH SCALES BE EXPECTED TO ASSIST/FILL-IN AT VARIOUS POSITIONS AS NECESSARY MAINTAIN A CLEAN AND ORGANIZED FORMULATION AREA MUST FOLLOW ALL OF THE COMPANY-S SAFETY AND PERSONAL CONDUCT GUIDELINES ENSURE PROCESS IS OPERATED WITHOUT CROSS CONTAMINATION BETWEEN ACTIVES MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT UP TO 50 LBS PERFORM THOROUGH CLEANOUTS ON ALL COMPONENTS OF PROCESS OTHER DUTIES AS REQUESTED BY F & I SUPERINTENDENT RequirementsMust have GED/High School DiplomaMust be able to lift 50 lbsMust pass a skills testHighlightsBased on attendance and performance there is an excellent opportunity that you could convert to a full time employee.Why Kelly: - Hourly pay starting at $10 per hour - Kelly-sponsored Affordable Care Act health care coverage available for eligible employees- Group medical, prescription, vision, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance options that are available for purchase and the coverage is portable*- Service bonus plan- Holiday pay plan- Weekly electronic pay options - Free online training campus available- Employee assistance program (EAP) available at no cost- Corporate discountsCall today for immediate consideraton!! 816-233-3411 or check us out on the web at www.kellycareernetwork.com.
