Today, we are proud to offer a contract Lathe Machine Operator position for a top Medical Device company in Raynham, MA.    Job Description: Lathe Machine Operator Location:  Raynham MA Shifts Available:  1st shift   6am-2pm M-F  2nd shift: 2pm-10pm M-F Overtime opportunities before and after any shift Pay Rates to start:  $15.00/hr + depending on experience Summary: The client manufactures surgical medical devices and is seeking an experienced Lathe Machine Operator for both 1st and 2nd shift.  Job Description:  Perform operations as described by Standard Operating Procedures SOPs under Good Manufacturing Practices GMPs . Work closely with other manufacturing support areas to coordinate activities. Maintain equipment in proper working order. Maintain individual training records. Clean and sterilize equipment. Follow safety procedures and practices. Maintain a clean orderly work environment 6s . Communicate problems to supervisor, technician or engineer. Properly complete manufacturing documentation. Operate machinery and test equipment. Dispose of hazardous materials appropriately. Interact with computer controlled equipment and processes. Conduct quality inspection of work in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. Assist in maintaining supplies needed for production area. Write/revise process documentation as needed. Assist in tracking inventory and samples. Perform other duties as assigned.      Qualifications: A minimum of a High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent required. Previous lathe machine operator experience Basic mechanical skills required.   Experience with routine machine inspection preferred.  Knowledge of blueprint reading and geometric tolerance dimensions preferred.  Basic computer skills required.  The ability to work independently and in a team environment is required.   Basic math skills, with the ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, compute percentages and work with decimals required.  The ability to perform and record measurements with drop indicators, venires and gauges is required.  The ability to stand and/or walk more than 50% of the time is required.   Ability to lift up to 25 pounds unaided is required.      This position is recruited for by a remote Kelly office, not your local Kelly branch.  To be considered for this position, submit your resume through the job board this process.    Why Kelly®?At Kelly Services®, we work with the best.
