Automotive Technician - Full-time / Part-time

Excellent Opportunity for Prototype Build /Transmission Technician, Livonia.   This is a 1 year contract opportunity with long term potential. This is a Monday-Friday opportunity, 2:00pm- 10:30pm.  Must be open to working either 1st or 2nd shift as needed. Prototype Build / Transmission Technician, diagnosis, and repair production and prototype transmissions following the build book, illustrations, sketches, prints, and repair manuals including the installation of transmissions into test vehicles. Mechanics will work with personnel to contain the vehicle build book, determine vehicle content, and assemble to BOM as well as working with the build planner to support the vehicle assembly process. This also includes and is not limited to company required reports using corporate tools including labor tracking, invoice balancing, material costs, and various other types of reports from system accounts.   Associates Degree in Automotive Technology preferred but not required Experience with transmissions (rebuild/replace transmissions) Extensive overall vehicle knowledge Preferred ASE Master Mechanic Certification but not required Valid driver’s license in good standing without restrictions Must be able to provide own tools/toolboxes.  Able to use some of company’s tools but should have the majority of tools needed themselves   Benefits/Perks: Full-time, contract opportunity Competitive weekly pay Long term contract potential Auto enhanced benefits including holiday and vacation pay Apply today for immediate consideration!
