Job DescriptionOur Receiving Specialist is responsible for daily receipt scheduling of inbound receipts. Works closely with carriers and logistic providers. Generates receiving document and prioritizes the unloading and put away of new receipts. Works closely with merchandising and Accounts Payable staff on actual purchase orders and quantity received. Works with High Jump System to report new receipts and storage locations. What you-ll do:- Maintain daily and weekly receiving appointment scheduling communicating status and changes through email and telephone support.- Ongoing communication and correspondence with carriers and logistics providers.- Systemically complete and accurately maintain all shipment documentation through electronic transmittal and/or manual build. - Maintain Standard Method of Storage Quantities through regular Receiving Worksheet audits.- Responsible for monitoring all inbound Purchase Orders through expediting list to accurately document all inbound merchandise. - Maintain, modify, and produce spreadsheets, charts, and databases for reporting purposes to include 3rd party clients, rework, and liquidations.- Document and communicate with Merchandising staff all inbound SKU and P.O. discrepancies. - Responsible for assisting Accounts Payable department in resolving invoice discrepancies at point of receiving/storage. - Responsible for immediate completion of Loss and Damage Claims.RequirementsWhat you-ll need:- High School diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.- At least 1 year of administrative experience in a production environment.- Previous experience in a fast-paced distribution or production environment with demonstrated ability to prioritize.- Previous experience making effective decisions in a fast-paced working environment.- Proven ability to demonstrate professionalism, dependability, integrity and trustworthiness. - Demonstrated ability to maintain confidential information- Previous experience managing multiple priorities with experience operating independently and under minimal supervision.- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime, as needed.What will put you ahead:- Associates degree in logistics, supply chain, engineering, management, or related fields- Previous experience in consumer products industry or distribution environmentHighlightsTop 100 Internet Retailer, is the parent to 16 fast-growing retail brands.
