Senior Analyst - Full-time / Part-time

Kelly Services is currently seeking a year long assignment with one of our top clients in Carlsbad, CA! The FP&A Senior Analyst serves as a lead for integration projects relating to financial reporting in HFM, CMR, FDM, EDW, Hyperion Planning, and local ERPs. You will be responsible for driving all the FP&A aspects of changes arising from projects, ensuring reporting deliverables are well-defined and their impact to existing processes are coordinated with the Finance team. You will be working on finding solutions to current reporting challenges or integrating new data into the existing structure. Must possess strong financial systems knowledge, deep financial planning and analysis background and the ability to find and communicate complex reporting solutions. You will partner with multiple global stakeholders, including Finance Systems, Commercial Finance, Financial Accounting, Divisional Finance, Operations Finance, IT Systems, and possibly new acquisitions to ensure a complete reporting solution is in place for each project. Responsibilities Manage the design, setup, testing and implementation of financial reporting across multiple systems for integration projects Project management responsibilities include: regular status meetings and reporting, planning for test cycles, change management, and documentation Liaise with the business reporting teams to ensure project awareness, gain input on new solution design, and mitigate impact on existing processes Develop and deliver training for process and reporting changes related to projects Work closely with technical system owners to ensure all financial related data and mappings in financial reporting and ERP systems are setup to allow accurate, complete and timely financial management reporting Collaborate with other functional leads to ensure impact of project changes are understood and accurately, completely and timely updated in Financial Reporting systems to ensure undisrupted reporting processes Education: 5+ years of experience in management reporting systems Experience with E1, SAP, HFM, FDM, Essbase, EDW/Cognos, Hyperion Planning, or similar systems Understanding of data mining, systems setup and management reporting Understanding of finance, accounting and impact to reporting systems Bachelor in Finance/Accounting (MBA or CPA preferred but not required) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience in project management and Kaizen methodologies are considered an advantage Why Kelly®?
