General Laborer - Full-time / Part-time

Job Description- Work to continually improve plant systems, processes, procedures and results. - Utilize process improvement techniques, tools and procedures. - Utilize production output and equipment downtime data to make changes and improve results. - Maximize performance of equipment - Preserve equipment through proper cleaning and sanitation - Utilize preventative maintenance program to maintain and prevent failure of equipment - Troubleshoot equipment problems, make basic repairs and document adjustments - Conduct efficient equipment changeovers to accommodate production demands - Produce quality product through tight monitoring of processes, raw materials and finished products. - Adhere to good housekeeping standards and good manufacturing practices - Operate sanitation equipment (Central CIP, foamers, power washers, etc.) - Have the ability to problem solve and make decisions in independent and team settings - Have good communication skills to work with factory personnel and vendors. - Read and use manuals and diagrams - Have a baseline understanding of mathematics (multiplication, division, averages, and percentage calculations)Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent - Must be at least 18 years of age - Able and willing to work 12 hour shifts including the potential for nights, weekends and holidays - Must be able to successfully complete a post-offer pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check - Prior experience in manufacturing preferred - Exposure to high speed production, clean manufacturing or basic maintenance strongly desired - Ability to work self-directed and with a team - Solid communication and interpersonal skills with experience working in a team based environment - Ability to interact with various internal contacts to manage the flow of work - Computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft applications, SAP experience a plus - Focus on safe work practices and high quality while executing duties with a sense of urgency - Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand on your feet for long periods of time throughout the day Why Kelly®?At Kelly Services®, we work with the best.
