Job DescriptionManufacturing Associates needed for Southern Maine Gourmet Food Company!1st and 2nd Shift Opportunities! Apply Today!$10 to $11.00 an hourThe Manufacturing Associate is responsible for performing duties on and off the production line related to preparation, manufacturing, and packaging of product in accordance with standards. Key Responsibilities1. Perform all stations on the manufacturing line2. Visually inspects products to ensure quality is achieved3. Hand-finish work on product, including tie tags, labels, and pre-ticketing and any other miscellaneous table work required4. Utilize pallet trucks to assist with movement of finished product5. Maintain cleanliness of work area throughout the shift and at the end of the shift6. Report any conditions that need attention to appropriate personnelAdditional Responsibilities1. Follow all company policies and procedures with regard to safety, quality, sanitation, personnel, maintenance, and equipment, including food safety.2. Performs other job related duties as assignedRequirementsExperience, Education and Skills 1. Previous manufacturing experience and ability to operate electrical and manual pallet jacks a plus2. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. on a regular basis and to stand for several hours at a time as well as bend and stretch3. Is flexible with work schedule to accommodate business needs4. Must have proven abilities to work well within a team5. Follow all company, regulatory and industry standards6.
