This position provides both warranty administration and automotive technical support to dealers. Provides day to day claim direction and assistance to dealer and regional personnel with telephone support and training on all facets of the claims life-cycle including warranty, service contracts, campaign, goodwill inquiries, pre-approvals, and post-approvals. Provides technical assistance by phone to dealer technicians to assure proper repairs are made to consumer vehicles. In this position, the agent will work closely with others in a large team environment. The primary responsibility of the Customer Service Intermediate Representative will be:   · Solid interpersonal, conflict resolution, negotiation, and decision making skills · One or more years of directly related experience at a professional level · Previous automotive/technical experience at either a manufacturer or dealer level is preferred, especially in the Parts and Service area. · High School equivalency, bachelor’s degree in a related discipline is preferred. · Working knowledge of a Microsoft Office Suite and other PC applications · Typing skills: 30 WPM   Job Description: · Provides telephone customer service and technical support to Nissan and Infiniti dealers · Provides dealers with claims pre-approvals and post-approvals as situation dictates · Conducts transactions according to Assurance Product claims policies and procedures to increase consistency of service to dealers and field personnel as well as to insure proper use of Warranty, Security Plus, and Goodwill funds · Supports dealers diagnostic knowledge and troubleshooting information on vehicle repairs; researches issues and provides repair recommendations · Provides instruction relating to vehicle Service Manual procedures, Technical Service Bulletins, and Campaign procedures · Follows-up with dealer service personnel to assure customer vehicles are correctly repaired; supports regional Dealer Technical Specialists DTS in assisting dealership service technicians · Provides effective training and coaching to dealership personnel · As necessary, performs other related duties of which the above are representative   Do you have what it takes? · High School Diploma or equivalent · Two to Five years hands on Mechanic with Customer Service Skills in an analyst · Strong analytical and decision-making skills · Strong organizational skills · Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills · Thorough computer knowledge such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint   Details · Long term contract position · Competitive weekly electronic pay · Medical plan · Paid time off · Eligibility to participate in the Nissan Discount Program   Join our team at Nissan       If you want to be part of the driving force at Nissan, apply today!       Why Kelly®?At Kelly Services®, we work with the best.
