Research Specialist - Fargo, ND Kelly Services is currently seeking a Research Clerk for one of our top banking clients in Fargo, ND.  This is full time, temp to possible hire position and the schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00a-5:00p and the pay is $17.50/hr.   While at Kelly Services you will receive perks and full benefits! Additional Job Responsibilities Include:   Will develop a thorough knowledge of the entire underwriting process for credit card applications. Will have a specialized role that involves the researching and risk mitigation associated with credit card applications. Partner with assigned business line, other Risk/Compliance/ Audit (RCA) Consultants and managers to maintain, review and oversee an effective risk management framework. Will utilize tools to validate information associated with the application. Validation is completed by responding to telephone inquiries on credit card applications and existing accounts to collect the documents/information of the Know Your Customer (KYC)/Customer Due Diligence (CDD)/Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) program and other customer due diligence information. These activities help to ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Identify gaps and help to develop solutions that minimize losses resulting from inadequate internal processes, systems or human errors.   Job Requirements Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience Two to three years of experience in regulatory compliance activities, preferably in security, fraud, anti-money laundering and/or financial services Thorough understanding of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends Well-developed analytical skills Ability to research and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Strong PC skills, particularly word processing, spreadsheet, databases, and presentations Excellent oral and written communication skills   Important information: This position is recruited for by a remote Kelly office, not your local Kelly branch.
