Job DescriptionExcellent temporary to full time hire positions working in a professional environment in Jackson, Michigan.Please read the following job description and submit your resume if interested and qualified.Summary of Position:Works closely with clients and assists Lead AR Follow Up. Job Duties:- Follow-up on all outstanding insurance claims, 60-days and greater from the date of service and in accordance with work allocation- Follow-up on all returned claims, correspondence, denials and rebills within the specified timeline to achieve maximum reimbursement in a timely manner- Timely follow up on insurance claim denials, exceptions or exclusions- Reading and interpreting based on insurance explanation of benefits- Make necessary arrangements for medical records requests, completion of additional information requests, etc. as requested by insurance companies- Provide excellent customer service, determines needs to make a phone call to resolve the claim and handles the account appropriately - Perform additional duties as requested by the Lead or Management team- Regular meetings with reporting managers to discuss and resolve reimbursement issues or resolution obstaclesQualifications: - Familiar with EPIC Systems- Must be able to type 40 WPM- Exhibits above average computer skills and willingness to learn new and required applications. Must be familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel- Preferred knowledge and understanding of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Compliance- Familiar with insurance follow up procedures- Self- motivated and willing to take on responsibilities and challenges. Seeks better ways to find solutions and offers suggestions for improvement. Maintain production and quality assurance standards- Able to use logic and reasoning to evaluate alternative solutions- Personable, customer service focused, optimistic and sets a positive tone in all conversations- Possesses excellent verbal communication skills.
