Job DescriptionNATURE AND SCOPE OF POSITION: Responsible for the administration of benefit program and payroll processing for approximately 275 employees consisting of both hourly and salaried groups. SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Coordinates the administration of benefit programs such as basic and major medical coverage, dental insurance, group life insurance, pension plans and other benefits. - Consults with and advises employees on eligibility, provisions and other matters related to benefits. - Maintains benefits records and documents. - Assists in the preparation of employee benefits booklets and other employee benefit communications.- Responsible for all payroll functions. - Manages the preparation and distribution of all hourly and salaried payrolls. - Ensures all taxes, SS contributions, and contributions to employee benefit programs and other deduction are withheld, paid and reported appropriately. - May have responsibility for recommending, or selecting systems/software which enhance performance of their area. - Analyze, audit & balance payroll files. - Process bi-weekly or monthly payroll. - Process garnishments and payroll taxes. - Respond to all payroll related requests and issues. - Maintain payroll records and recommendations.- Responsible for leave administration and time off tracking- May require accountability to both finance and human resource departmentsRequirementsEXPERIENCE AND SKILLS- Bachelor-s Degree, with 5-10+ years of experience in management and/or functional area which they manage- ADP experience a must- Excellent communication and organization skills required to support employee requests and follow up- Personal integrity and the ability to work both as a team and independently - Excellent time management skills- Strong MS Office Skills- Will need to be a self-starter with natural drive and energy Why Kelly®?At Kelly Services®, we work with the best.
