Custodian/Janitor

Job DescriptionKelly Services is currently recruiting for a part-time pharmaceutical custodian position for one of their customers in the Biloxi area. This position is a physically demanding & meticulous position that involves very detailed & physical cleaning of walls, floors, crevices, surfaces & machinery. There are three separate rooms that need to have various levels of cleaning & involves working with various cleaning chemicals & hazmat suits to provide a sterile environment within one or more of the rooms. This position is responsible for the use of safety devices and protective equipment in order to ensure the sterile environment needed for these areas. The candidate is also responsible for using safe practices & methods in the operation and supplies related to their job. Job Responsibilities- Thorough cleaning of rooms which include walls, floors, crevices & surfaces- Unloading & stocking of materials & supplies (daily/weekly/monthly)- Stock supplies for next day processing- Required to keep daily log book of cleaning processes- Requires extensive walking, stooping, pushing, carrying, reaching, bending and lifting- Remove trash from within office space & processing room- Performs other duties as assignedRequirementsRequirements- Proven experience as custodian, janitor or in a similar role- Knowledge of use and maintenance of industrial cleaning supplies- Knowledge of safe disposal of chemical liquids- Must be disciplined, structured & self-motivated- Must be conscientious & pay attention to details- Must be able to handle constructive criticism- Must be able to lift & carry 30 - 40 lbs./helpful to be in very good physical condition- High school diploma or GED is preferred Why Kelly®?At Kelly Services®, we work with the best.
