Kelly Engineering Resources is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for one of our top clients in the Tampa/St Petersburg, FL area.   Demonstrates and applies knowledge of mechanical and basic electrical maintenance functions. Experience troubleshooting and resolving mechanical and basic electrical and/or software and hardware issues using technical manuals, schematics and training. Preventative techniques and monitors compliance. Develops functional knowledge of the maintenance work order system by generating work orders, viewing status of work orders, and closing work orders when complete. Diagnoses routine and complex issues related to repair/service scheduling; tools required for mechanical repairs, generate potential solutions based on mechanical knowledge and makes repairs as required. Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment. Reads, analyzes and interprets schematics. Accomplishes duties using safe work practices. Experience interpreting drawings, diagrams and schematics (electrical, pneumatic, and other controls). Must supply own hand tools, standard and metric, with the exception of specialty tools. Ability to use shop tools either electric or pneumatic. Basic analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills (mechanical and electrical) Occasionally lift and/or manually move up to 40 lbs Work at heights up to 30 feet above ground on a ladder, in a scissors lift or in a bucket. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills Working knowledge of Windows Office and SAP   Required: Vocational training, certification, and/or minimum of three years related experience in basic mechanics and electrical skill areas. Basic understanding of electrical systems, PLC’s (programmable logic controllers), HMI’s (human machine interfaces) and/or drives required. Why Kelly®?
