Job DescriptionCandidates are trained to operate a machine that produces inflators for air bags. The machine you operate will only produce one type inflator. Depending on how new your machine is, you will have various -workstations.- Each work station has a different function. Once you have been trained on all stations, you will rotate every couple of hours. The company does rotate the positions to prevent complacency. Complacency leads to mistakes, and these are lifesaving devices. These are entry level positions and there is ample room for growth with the company. Your attendance, performance and reliability will determine when you are hired permanently by the company. Pay rate is $12.00 per hour for 1st shift; (6:00 am to 2:30 pm), $13.20 for 2nd shift (2 pm to 10:30 pm) and $13.44 for 3rdshift (10 pm to 6:30 am). Candidates need to understand that there will be rotating days off. What that means is you will most likely not work Monday through Friday and your days off each week could vary. These positions do have the opportunity to convert to perm with good attendance, punctuality and performance. However, the company does have 1 year to convert you to a permanent position. All Candidates must have a GED or high school diploma. Please note that this client is located near the Mesa Gateway airport in zip code 85212. There is NO public transportation to this work area.
