Job DescriptionJob Title: Materials Controller Job Type: Temp (3 months) to Hire Material Coordinator Duty - Review Sales Orders daily provide list of PO to the factories - Finalize PO to the factories and issue the Production Orders - Follow up with Production orders update Production Order Log - Communicate with factories over production orders and achieve delivery from factories to be as close as possible with the demand such as: (1) Communicate with Japan and explain needs or reason of urgent parts shipments. (2) Follow through the commitment date and shipping q-ty by factories. (3) Follow up and get response from any issue relate with expedite shipment or special request from sale and Engineering (4) Main contact regarding expedite shipment from Japan - Receive invoice from factories update Production Order Log - Work with inside sales team support delivery to the customers - Logistics arrangement - international and domestic - Logistics duties such as: (1) Provide commercial invoice for special or unique shipments requested by sales, customers, or other Fujikin office in the world. (2) Work with suppliers for appropriate arrangement that including quote for shipment, and invoice based on quotes. (3) Work with suppliers for improvement - Responsible for consignment inventory management. (1) Ship the item from consignment inventory to the customer if inside sales requests. (2) Replace the item which was shipped to customer. (3) Monitoring the inventory status. - Arrangement for the shipment to factory/customer requested by Engineering Dept. (1) Create Commercial invoice for international shipment. (2) Create packing list for the domestic shipment. (3) Contact forwarder if it-s needed. Miscellaneous Tasks - Chase after credit or debit notes to customer - Using aging report, enforce customer to pay in a timely manner - RMA service (manage the procurement, processing, and delivery of RMA items) - Packing the boxes that need to ship from our office - Deliver receipts to customer for purchases - Create reports for management when requested upon - Provide drawings to customers - Respond to customer inquiries - Request certificates of compliance when requested - Request FAI when needed - Requesting expedites through email for urgent orders - Prepare packing list every date to Nippon Express RequirementsSpecial Requirement - Japanese and English language must be fluent in both written and verbal - Strong communication skills - Sense of urgency - Strong math skills - Ability to solve problems Other Requirements - Minimum 3 years of experience in Materials coordinator or inside sales, in a high tech company is a plus - ERP experience.
