Job DescriptionGeneral Production Location: Sandston, VAReport To: Shift Supervisor or Shift Superintendent Summary: This entry-level position is responsible for tasks assigned by the Shift Supervisor based upon the daily needs of the plant.Primary Duties and Responsibilities: 1) May be called upon to stack lines, hand-pack lines, palletize boxes, fork cups, or any other tasks deemed necessary by the Shift Supervisor and/or Foreman.2) Maintain general housekeeping of the areas assigned.3) Assist in maintaining the quality of the product for the assigned area.4) Other duties as assigned by members of Plant Management.Qualifications: Satisfactorily perform on the Industrial Skill Evaluation.Training Requirements: Food Safety, Food Security, Safety, HACCP as assigned to the area, and Pallet Jack Training.Physical Demands: Able to lift 50 pounds or less repeatedly for ten hours and be able to remain standing 100% of the shift. Must pass a functional capacity test prior to employment.SQF Requirements: Training, Documentation, Verification, HACCPMust have excellent Attendance & Punctuality.Must be Safety Oriented.RequirementsMust have 1-2 years experience working in a Manufacturing or Production environment.Must be able to lift 50 pounds or less repeatedly for ten hours and be able to remain standing 100% of the shift. Must pass a functional capacity test prior to employment.Must be motivated and able to keep up with production packaging.Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.Must be a fast learner and a team player.Must maintain general housekeeping of the areas assigned.Must be able to follow instructions.Must be able to communicate with Co-Workers, Supervisors and Managers.Must have flexible schedule and able to work 7 days a week during peak seasons.
