Electorincs Assembler (Direct Hire) - Full-time / Part-time

Job DescriptionThe Electronic's Assembler will be responsible for performing various production testing of modules, sub-assemblies and P.C. Boards. Additionally, the Assembler will be tasked with performing light troubleshooting down to module level and repairs. This position is DIRECT HIRE.Salary will be discussed upon consideration.Applicants MUST have ELECTRICAL EXPERIENCE and be mechanically inclined.Knowledge of soldering methods, working with PCB's, and SMT required.Must have flexibility to work whatever shift needs coverage, although typically the schedule will remain consistent. Hours may change from 9:30am-6:00pm to 1:00pm-9:30pm. Employees will be notified of this weeks in advance to avoid any inconveniences.The Electronic's Assembler will also keep record of test results, and inform the Production Manager of any recurring problems. Essential Role and Responsibilities:-Follow test procedures to setup test equipment benches for product testing-Test complex assemblies using test procedures and test software-Identify production test failure trends and report to production manager or tech lead-Troubleshoot production failures to component level-Timely and accurate flow of information to Production Manager.-Work performed in a professional, safe and workmanship like manner.-Timely completion of work assignments which includes task initiation and follow-up.-Ability to learn and progress to more complex work assignments. Qualifications and Education Requirements:-Technical school graduate or equivalent experience / military training.-Ability to understand and troubleshoot analog and digital circuits is essential.-Familiar with wide variety of test equipment.-Must be able to work under tight production schedules with changing priorities.
