This is long-term steady work that has production and management experience.    Job title Shift Coordinator 3rd shift Reports to Kelly Services Talent Advisor (Kelly OnSite Rep)   Job purpose The Kelly Services Shift Coordinator is front line support to both Kraft and Kelly Temporary employees, ensuring effective delivery of attendance and distribution of the contingent labour for shift start-up.  The Shift Coordinator (SC) acts as the guardian of the customer daily crew list and effectively communicates all changes to site supervisors/Line leads/Kelly rep.   Duties and responsibilities Shift Coordinator arrives for shift approx. 45 minutes ahead of shift start-up Reports to supervisors office, or central point of posting and retrieve copy of schedule (EYB obtain Daily Crew list) Pull messages from onsite office absence line Add backups from master (to offset absences). Update daily schedule/crew list Cross reference daily crew list with master schedule to ensure capturing correctly all scheduled Kelly Temporary          Employees (KTE’s) Go to security and meet arrivals (EYB - stand at hand wash station for arrivals) Check names against schedule indicated arrived/absent Distribute any PPE if necessary (Ear Plus, Steal Toe shoes, bump caps, hair nets, Safety  glasses etc.) Ask backups to remain at scheduling board until determined if required or to be sent home (overstaffed).  If needed to fulfill shortages then KC will direct KTE to the appropriate work area, per direction of the Supervisors/Line Leads KC communicates and works with Supervisors/Line Leads for appropriate distribution of KTE’s, reporting any absences, movement of back-ups etc. KC will attempt to make calls for extra KTE’s as required, with availability of KTE’s and depending on time of day.  Kelly will not dispatch last minute call-ins after 9PM daily, for safety reasons. Assist with KTE’s to appropriate line or work area (as required) during start of shift and shared shift changeover Guide any new starts to appropriate work area and introduce to key contacts Provide copy of updated crew list to both Kraft and Kelly for attendance tracking and any necessary counseling (conducted by the Kelly onsite Rep.) kC then reports to assigned work area as scheduled to perform regular duties   Hours: Monday-Thursday 10:00PM-7:30 AM Fridays 10:00PM until CIP is completed which could go up to 4 hours past their shift ,  Saturdays will be Mandatory if they are working .       Training will be about 4 weeks. 2 weeks on production floor and 2 weeks on the coordination position    Qualifications         HS Diploma or GED preferred 3 months working experience in warehouse facility to ensure understanding of GMP, Safety, Environment etc. Good communication skills Multitasking Ability to interact with various levels of management   Pay:    $13.00/hour AFTER training, $10.00 during training.
