Material Handler III

Kelly Services is currently seeking an experienced Material Handler for a temporary role for one of our top clients in Oklahoma City, OK. We provide employment to more than 700,000 people annually and we deal with some of the largest and best companies both nationally and locally.   As a Material Handler placed with Kelly Services, you will be responsible for executing the receiving, storing, picking, staging and distribution of materials required for assembly/manufacture of product.   Job Responsibilities: Perform physical movement of materials from one area to another using handcarts or fork lifts Picks parts/products for shipments ensuring accuracy of identification and quantity Physically and systemically receive/issue individual material requisitions from internal and external departments Create and/or maintain transactional inventory records Maintain accurate files of packing and shipping activity Communicate/notify appropriate personnel of shipping/inventory discrepancies Fill kits and deliver to production as required Maintain stocking/inventory objectives Quantifies and verifies cycle count Comply with EHS & Quality System regulations and policies Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned General Requirements: High school Diploma/GED or local equivalent 1 years’ experience in storing and material handling Demonstrate ability to read, write and speak in local language Proficient in basic mathematics Ability to communicate well and work with others Basic computer skills Ability to consistently lift Ability to utilize automated lifting equipment Length of Contract: 6 Month Temporary Assignment Pay Rate: $14/hour   Kelly Temporary Employee Perks: Group medical, prescription, vision, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance options that are available for purchase—and the coverage is portable* Service bonus plan Holiday pay plan Weekly electronic pay options Free online training campus available Exclusive online employee community Corporate discounts   Apply Now!
