Communications Associate – Nashville, TN Communications Associate needed for a national insurance company located in Nashville. This is a great position for someone who wants experience honing their communication skills and exposure to the corporate environment of a Fortune 100 company. We are seeking a candidate who enjoys writing, planning events and can help the company manage reputation with employees, agents and the public through communications, media relations and community partnerships. Training will be provided. Location: Nashville (37214) Type: Contract (1 year) Hours: M-F 8am-5pm Pay: Negotiable Job Responsibilities: Support with planning and execution of company meetings and community events Design slide shows presentations Administrative support as needed invoice processing, shipping Respond to phone calls from employees, agents and community partners Social media posting (basic media relations training provided) Format electronic newsletters (training provided) Help with communications tracking for media coverage and newsletter readership (training provided) Ideal Candidate: Be a highly organized Have excellent oral and written communication skills, phone skills, and in person Be customer service orientated Be able to adapt and succeed in a fast-paced and challenging environment. Job Requirements: College degree preferred Prior administrative assistance experience helpful Prior communications or marketing experience helpful but not required Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel Apply now for immediate consideration!
