Today, we are proud to offer a contract CNC Machine Operator position for a top Medical Device company in Raynham, MA.    Job Title: CNC Machine Operator  (Mazak and/or Citizens Machines) Location: Raynham, MA Shift:  2nd shift: 2pm to 10pm M-F 3rd shift  10pm-6:30am  Sun-Fri Pay Rate: $18-20/hr+ depending on experience Length of Assignment:  2 years, HIGH potential to be hired on permanently  Description: The CNC Machine Operator will be responsible for operating machinery to produce parts, tools and equipment using sketches, prints or instruction manuals.  Deburring of each medical piece produced. This individual will be accountable for adhering to all quality and safety guidelines.  Assist with set up and operation of machinery to produce parts, tools and equipment.  Modify parts based on quality inspection results to assure conformance to requirements.  Clean machines as necessary and assist with basic maintenance.  Correct basic manufacturing problems as directed.  Request supplies for assigned equipment and maintains calibration records. Notify supervisor when machinery needs maintenance or repairs.  Review and implement all quality and safety requirements. Qualifications: A minimum of a High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent required. Prefers a minimum of 1 year of experience working in a machine shop or production line environment, machining precise finished products required.  Experience with CNC milling/grinding machines preferred or schooling for CNC machines.  Experience with Electrical Discharge Machines (EDMs) preferred.  Machine/tool set-up experience required / General tooling experience preferred.  Experience with routine machine inspection preferred.  The ability to read blueprints is required.   Experience working in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) or other regulated environment preferred.   Experience working in an environment that has gone through Lean process changes preferred.  Basic mechanical skills required.  Basic computer skills required.  Experience collaborating in a team environment required.  Basic math skills, with the ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, compute percentages and work with decimals required.  Ability to work with metric and standard measurements required.  Must have the ability to perform and record measurements with calipers, drop indicators, micrometers and gauges.  The ability to stand and/or walk more than 80% of the time is required.   Ability to lift up to 25 pounds unaided is required.    This position is recruited for by a remote Kelly office, not your local Kelly branch.  To be considered for this position, submit your resume through the job board this process.    Why Kelly®?At Kelly Services®, we work with the best.
