Inventory Control Clerk

Job DescriptionKelly Services is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk with Forklift experience for a great company in the Rayne area.Procedures - Receives computerized work order. - Pulls stock from shelves to fill work order requests, usually 2-3 weeks in advance of need. - Enters items pulled and/or transferred items into MAS 500 for cost accounting purposes. - Places all items for work order onto a -kitting- cart and makes available to production floor. - Performs a specified number of cycle counts each month on supervisor designated items. - Pulls peripheral items, not aligned with a work order and enters them into Cribmaster. - Pulls stock for other facilities and issues to Shipper/Receiver. - Receives previously issued excess stock or scrap and records in MAS500. - Measures small pipe stock for issue to production floor per work order. - Occasionally pulls stock and delivers small kits and pipes to other buildings. RequirementsEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING TIME High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
