Forklift Operator Assistant - Full-time / Part-time

Job DescriptionKelly Services is in need of a Forklift Operating AssistantForklift Operating Assistant: Product is very expensive and the forklift guy needs a set of eyes to assist in moving the product around the warehouse, will also help wrap product and unwrap product. Job summary Assist Forklift Operator. Assist an Operator to move machines and machine parts around a warehouse or to load them to transporting vehicles.Essential job functions- Move controls to drive gasoline- or electric-powered forklift, trucks, cars, and transport materials between loading and storage areas.- Position lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, and boxes, and secure material or products for transport to designated areas.- Manually load or unload materials onto or off pallets, skids, platforms, cars, or lifting devices.- Inspect and perform routine maintenance on vehicles and maintenance of forklift, such as cleaning, lubricating, recharging batteries, fueling, or replacing liquefied-gas tank.- Assist with in-coming container.- Confirm that the all items listed on the bill of lading are included in the shipment of the machine.- Assist with in preparation of the machine shipment and loading to the track.- Confirm to getting the signature of the trucking company or the driver on the shipping documents, and distribute to the responsible department.- Keep the log of in-out of transportation personnel.- Organize and relocate of the machine in the warehouse.- Making boxes for shipment of parts and auxiliary equipment- General maintenance of warehouse and office as requested- Assist forklift operator.Experience and minimum qualifications Knowledge of forklift and other operating machines. Skilled in Equipment Maintenance; Operation and Control of equipment or systems; Operation Monitoring; Equipment Selection. Communication skills.
