Assembler - Full-time / Part-time

Job DescriptionKelly Services is hiring in the Goldsboro, NC area with a premier employer. This is an excellent opportunity for EXPERIENCE Assemblers. You must be able to work 8 hour shifts with the ability to work Monday through Friday. A minimum of 6 months previous Assembly/Warehouse experience. This position requires interpersonal skills, analytical and problem solving ability. Candidates will be responsible for converting centimeter measurements to millimeters according to work orders. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:The most qualified candidates for this position must have the ability to:- Interpersonal skills, analytical and problem solving ability- Team player and detailed oriented- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, cost, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods- Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions- Rotate through all the tasks required in a particular production process.- Determine work assignment and procedures- Shovel and sweep work areas- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts. Provides assistance in the production of wiring assemblies- Must be able to convert centimeters measurements to millimeter measurements according to work orders- Work closely with Supervisors and other teammates to complete assigned tasks- Comply effectively with company work and safety rules- Continually meet assigned production standards- Follow directions- Work independently and in a team environment- Comply with company attendance policy- Stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, grasp and reach above the head continuously for a period of two hours or moreMINIMUM SKILLS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:A teammate in this position must:- Must have High School Diploma or GED- Be 18 years or older- Previous assembly or technical experience preferred - Must be capable of operating computerized technology mounted on equipmentWORKING CONDITIONS:- The environment encompasses all areas of a Distribution Center and material movement takes place throughout the facility- This position requires the teammate to work inside the majority of the time- Steel-Toe shoes with metatarsals must be worn at all timesApply now for this outstanding opportunity!!
