                                                                                Lift Truck Operator at Kraft- Kendallville, IN                                                                                            (Located onsite at Kraft)                                                                                     Call 260-205-3532 to apply today.  JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for scanning finished product from production lines and loading the product onto trailers. The employee must scan MATRICS labels, verify correctness of PRN scan (i.e. product number, description, lot number), and enter correct pallet quantity.   Pay: $12.00/hour Shift: Must be open for all shifts 2nd and 3rd rotation's (may be needed to work production floor)  MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Lift 50 pounds. Able to twist, grasp, and bend regularly. Able to become certified to operate a hand truck and a fork lift. Able to become certified in MATRICS LTO. Able to become certified in SAP. Use simple mathematics on a regular basis. Able to work in areas that contain dust and starch particles. Able to work in hot and humid conditions. Trained in LOTO procedures for palletizers. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Receive finished product from production lines. Sign off on first case off and PRN accuracy prior to first scan. Scan MATRICS labels and verify correctness of scan for product number, description, and lot number; Enter correct pallet quantity. Deliver pallets; Keep production line palletizers full. When moving crème supplies, scan SAP labels and verify correctness of scan for product number, description, and quantity. Transport Caramel sauce barrels from Caramel Wrap finished goods staging area to warehouse cooler when necessary. Primarily responsible for the overall operation of palletizers at the end of each line; Ticket loads and document times on paperwork so loads may be shipped. Perform quality and procedural checks within product specifications. Upgrade to receiving and raw/pack supplier in times of absenteeism. Comply with all GMP policies and practices. Perform an emergency stop as necessary; Follow all “Lock Out/Tag Out” procedures and policies. Maintain and expand on SAP skills to ease job responsibilities when helping with raw and pack supply and receiving. Report all safety concerns and potential hazards to a supervisor/team lead. Attend to any duties assigned by Manager/Supervisor/Team Lead/Salaried. EQUIPMENT OPERATED: The employee must have general operation knowledge of a Powered Industrial Truck, general computer skills to include SAP, Matrics, the stretch wrap machine, the dock lock mechanisms, and dock levelers.
