Assembly Team Leader Temporary to Hire

Kelly Services is looking for a professional like you!Immediate 2nd shift opportunity available with local Green Bay company.Core Responsibilities: Leadership (50%)- Facilitate Huddles with all team members daily- Assign tasks to assembly cell technicians daily- Convey and support team goals (productivity, COQ, safety, ect.)- Make suggestions for cell staffing needs- Support training of technicians - Provide mentoring/training of Assembly Cell Coordinators and Assistant Team Leaders as needed.- Primary role is to ensure all assembly cell technicians are supplied with what is needed to continue producing and minimize interruptions- Watch for imbalances in workflow daily and make adjustments as needed- Maintain and support schedules including shift hand off communication, ordering of parts (cardboard, components, foam, ect..), and actively performing scheduling tasks between fab and assembly in cells with this process in place- Documenting downtime reasons- Maintaining production display boards Production (10%)- Assist with production as needed Continuous Improvement (30%):- Document downtime reasons & review regularly with Process Managers- Provide suggestions for improvements regularly- Foster an environment of continuous improvement and encourage suggestions from team members Safety (10%)- Maintain a clean/safe working environment- Report any unsafe working conditions or equipment- Assist Safety Committee members with annual hazard assessmentsIdeal candidate will be a team player with strong decision making skills, able to work with minimal supervision, motivate others respectfully and successfully, provide clear direction, meet deadlines consistently and train others. Must possess training, certification or education in Leadership, Operations Management, Business. Lean Manufacturing exposure is a plus. In addition, must possess working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word) and email.2:00pm-10:00pm, Monday-Friday**Must be flexible to work additional hours based upon business needsApply today!
