Lead Production Operator-Film Coating -Direct Hire - Full-time / Part-time

Job DescriptionThe Film Coating Team Lead for the Overnight Shift will lead and oversee a team of 2-4 Production Operators to ensure production is maintained in full cGMP and SOP compliance, as well as ensure adherence to safety guidelines. The overnight shift hours are 11:00pm to 7:00am.Responsibilities:- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of 2-4 Production Operators on the overnight shift- Track and report performance and attendance- Complete paperwork required for batch processing- Daily metrics reporting such as variances in production, labor hours and downtime- Track production processing and material management in SAP- Develop, recommend, and implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product- Other supervisory and manufacturing duties as assignedRequirementsEducation: - Associates Degree preferred Required experience: - 5+ years of pharmaceutical manufacturing experience specifically with Oral Solid Dosage - 2+ years operating Film Coating equipment - 2+ years experience leading/supervising in a manufacturing environment also required - Working knowledge of SAP - Excellent writing skillsPhysical and Environmental ConditionsThe physical requirements of the position generally include: standing, walking, sitting, using hands and fingers, reaching with hands and arms, talking and hearing.
