Our client in Minneapolis, MN is looking for a Patient Service Specialist/Dispatcher for their Global Security Command Center. This position is a long-term opportunity and possible contract to hire for the right candidate/fit. The client will train the candidate for support within the following description:  This team is ideally looking for a candidate with a positive can do attitude that is willing to learn. Someone with law enforcement experience/education, customer service, working with patient information, or emergency response environment would be a good fit. POSITION DESCRIPTION: We are looking for a well-rounded and dynamic professional to join our Global Security Command Center team of Security Specialists. The position requires a passion for security operations and a collaborative approach to facing emergent challenges both reactively and proactively while operating in an ever-changing and quickly evolving environment globally. The ideal candidate should have a broad knowledge of global geopolitical events, trends, impactful social and health issues, politics, economics, environment, military and security issues, threat and terrorism trends, and international relations. Shift: variable due to 24X7 operation. Hours could range from 0-40/hrs per week. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Alarm monitoring and assessment. Proficiency in dispatching and communicating with officers/security stakeholders. Act as a liaison to employees, visitors and vendors and control access to Medtronic facilities, information, and services. Support emergency response and critical Incident management notifications. Process Customer inquiries. Monitor business intelligence and travel databases and recognize incidents which may adversely impact personnel, assets and business integrity globally. Monitor all access control, CCTV and alarm systems for the Twin Cities and select systems for remote sites on a global basis. Ability to assist with projects as assigned.
