Job DescriptionGraphic Artist (contract to hire)Technical and/or mechanical experience preferredPennsauken, NJFull time, 8am - 5pm; Monday-FridayPlease include your salary requirement with your applicationKelly Services is hiring a Graphic Artist for a leading tooling manufacturer for the packaging industry in Pennsauken, NJIdeal candidates will possess the following attributes:Hard working, self-motivated and eager to learn.Be proficient using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for Mac.Desire to learn the Flexo Printing Process.Be able to work effectively in a fast paced, tight dead-line oriented atmosphereHave a degree or two years' related experienceDaily activities will include:Create artwork for approval per customer requests while adhering to machine specifications and limitations.Be able to quickly and accurately create vector art from samples.Have progressing skills manipulating existing artwork (masks, bleeds, traps, gradients, separations, type setting, etc).Preparing supplied files for plate making.Font recognition.Barcode generation.Output to large format printers.Output to Digital Imaging DevicesThis exciting opportunity won't last!
