Job DescriptionKelly Services has a great opportunity for a Material Control Specialis in Round Rock, TX! M-F1st shift with possible overtimeDuties: Responsible for accuracy of inventory counts, identifying discrepancies in inventory counts and taking corrective action to guard against inconsistencies in the future. Receiving which includes but is not limited to matching of packing slips to purchase orders, detailed review of material, tagging and identification of material, properly storing material upon receipt, acquiring all required paperwork for receipt process, & posting inventory receipts Maintain up-to-date records of inventory locations Issuing inventory and consumable items, perform stock returns (RMA), posting of issues/returns to inventory management software, & deliver material to end user on time Timely management of expired and non-conforming items Participate in documenting processes and identifying areas for improvement focusing on quality, efficiency, & safety. Maintain a safe work environment, following all company Health & Safety policies Perform all tasks in accordance with organization policies, procedures, regulatory and cGMP requirements as applicable and demonstrate capabilities through current training records. Be proactive in supporting activities of other areas and groups within the business Cross train on the other tasks in the department to provide full service support to the other teams Other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate should have high school diploma or equivalent Previous experience handling chemicals preferred.Seeks highly motivated, professional, detail oriented applicants for a Material Control Specialist position in inventory management. Material Control is responsible for the proactive control of materials within a chemical manufacturing environment. The department is responsible for storage, release, and movement of material following organizations Quality and Regulatory Systems.
