Packaging Technician

Job DescriptionKelly Services has a great opportunity in Round Rock for a packaging technician!- Salary range- $13 to $15 per hour- Duration- 3 months (1 month of training and 2 months working)- Start date- June 1stPosition Description: The Packaging technician will assist in Packaging and cleaning processes associated with the Packaging of pharmaceuticals, including finished drugs, for R&D and human use, in a cGMP environment. The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: - Maintain Packaging duties as scheduled by Production Supervisor or designee- Perform Packaging of drug products, samples, material sampling using machines or manual packaging, checking weights, entering data in packaging records- Moving materials from warehouse to packaging area and packaging area to warehouse.- Ensure GMP documentation is followed- Keep current on all required training and SOPs- Maintain a clean work area- Ensure all safety programs are adhered to- Operate equipment as trained through SOP and on the job training- Perform facility cGMP cleaning per related SOP- Perform equipment cGMP cleaning per related SOP- Perform validation for GMP equipment as necessary- Proactively ensure equipment is maintained to minimize disruption to production schedules- Report all issues and concerns to supervisor or designee- Any other tasks as designated by managersDrug Screen and DEA Background check required. Medical Monitoring/Health & Safety Requirements: - Periodically required to wear full-face respirator to perform duties- Must have no physical limitations that would prevent- Being able to periodically lift 50 pounds- Being able to climb a ladder- Will have annual occupational medical assessment to ensure -fit for duty-Requirements: - Requires a high school diploma or equivalent- Minimum of 0 - 3 years of related experience Why Kelly®?At Kelly Services®, we work with the best.
