Job DescriptionElectronic Assemblers Needed ASAPKelly Services is currently hiring for Electronic Assemblers in the Medical Device Industry. If you or someone you know is interested please apply or contact us directly.Location: Largo, FL Duties PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:Solders printed circuit boards and various types of connections. Assembly of mechanical components using prints and/or written procedures.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Assembles hand-pieces, optical products, and various types of mechanical, pneumatic and electronic products according to written specifications and procedures.2. Assembles, prepares, solders and molds various types of wire harnesses and cable assemblies.3. Inspects parts, assemblies and products throughout the production process.4. Performs production tests on various assemblies, sub-assemblies and final products.5. Prepares cables with hardware, sets up and mixes various compounds, mold cables, trims and deburrs as required.6. Uses a variety of hand tools and manual, semi automatic, automatic assembly test equipment.7. Attends, passes, and participates in various training programs such as HPWT, GMP classes, OSHA and related safety classes, quality classes, production techniques classes and workshops, etc.8. Must be willing and able to continually rotate through a variety of manufacturing processes, performing all types of tasks in a cell/team environment.9. Performs preventative maintenance on tools, equipment and machines as required.10. Performs other related tasks not limited to but includes; performing housekeeping tasks required to keep work areas clean and organized.11. Observes all safety rules and regulations including the wearing of protective equipment when required. Will report any unsafe conditions to management.12. Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.13. Sustains and maintains 5S standards and all continuous improvement activities.Thank you for your considerationRequirementsQUALIFICATIONS AND JOB SKILLS:1. A minimum of 2 years experience in electronic/mechanical assembly and soldering experience within the past 12 months.2. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, read blueprints (English/metric), operate various types of production equipment, and use gauges and other measurement tools.3. Must be able to work all scheduled overtime. 4. Must be willing and able to continually rotate through a variety of manufacturing processes, performing all types of tasks in a cell/team environment.5.
