Inventory Clerk - Full-time / Part-time

Job DescriptionInventory ClerkOur customer is headquartered in Redwood Shores, California. The company specializes primarily in developing and marketing database software and technology, cloud engineered systems and enterprise software products - particularly its own brands of database management systems. The company also develops and builds tools for database development and systems of middle-tier software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, customer relationship management (CRM) software and supply chain management (SCM) software.Essential Functions- Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed and/or shipped.- Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code.- File requisitions, work orders or requests for materials, tools or other stock items and distribute items to shipping or to designated route driver storage area.- Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or relocate orders to a holding area or shipping department.- Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method.- Open bales, crates and other containers.- Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer program.- Cycle Counts of physical inventory- Packing/Kitting- Weigh and count items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.- Prepare parcels for mailing.Requirements:- High School Diploma- Ambitious and detail Oriented- Self-Motivated- Able to lift 25 lbs and up to 50 lbs (buddy system)- Problem Solver and able to communicate with others- Able to work Overtime/WeekendsLocation: Redwood City, CAWork Schedule: 8am - 4:30pm Monday thru FridayPay Rate: 16/hrRequirementsHigh School DiplomaAmbitiousDetail OrientedSelf-MotivatedAble to lift 25 lbs and up to 50 lbs (buddy system)Problem SolverAble to communicate with othersAble to work Overtime/WeekendsHighlightsAWESOME Perks!
