Kelly Services is currently seeking an experienced Order Management Specialist for a temporary role for one of our top clients in Deer Park, FL. As an Order Management Specialist placed with Kelly Services, you will be responsible for facilitating (coordinating and advancing) open orders within the facility working closely with numerous departments. This position acts on behalf of warranty orders that need action to be performed by these other functions and ensure timely and accurate execution of those open actions.
Job Responsibilities:
Reviewing warranty orders, production, dispatch lists, and shipment schedules consulting with department leads to determine progress of work, schedule appropriate follow up, and enhance completion dates to efficiently execute resolution of warranty claims.
Understand and coordinate open actions for customer-raised issues to provide support to the Warranty team
Influence without authority in a cross-functional work environment on behalf of warranty needs
Communicate clearly and effectively outstanding issues and status of warranty orders
Enter and manage customer returns and requests for warranty sales order lines
Fulfil warranty parts demand by picking and shipping hardware as needed
Identify and Resolve issues that are impacting procurement or delivery of parts
Be responsible for resolution of order issues related to warranty entries
Ensure accuracy of documentation including shipping, invoicing and customs paperwork
Follow all procedures according to Warranty policy with integrity and compliance
Alert managers quickly to significant customer issues
General Requirements:
Associates Degree in a technical or business field from an accredited college or university (OR High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution with 5 years’ industry experience)
Minimum 2 years of industry experience in a manufacturing environment
Ability and willingness to work overtime, weekends and holidays, as required
Strong knowledge of MS Office software especially Microsoft Excel
Working knowledge of MRP systems such as SAP
SAP experience not required, but should be very comfortable with Excel
Administrative experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
Experience in a manufacturing environment with displayed skills in supply chain
Detail-orientated and task proficient, with the ability to work self-directed
Length of Contract: 8+ Month Temporary Assignment
Pay Rate: $13-14/hour
