Warehouse Lead - Full-time / Part-time

Job DescriptionA growing oil and gas company is seeking a Warehouse Lead to join their successful team! This is a wonderful career opportunity that offers weekly overtime along with advancement opportunities. Hours for this role are 6AM-5:30PM Monday-Friday.Job Duties:- Perform work in a professional and safe manner, report unsafe work practices-Supervisor substitute as necessary.-Communicates work schedules and duties to employees in a designated work area assuring production goals are achieved.- Manages workflow from start to finish.-Maintains safety goals.-Recommends improvements to work area or schedule to supervisor.-Recommends shift changes or personnel adjustments as necessary to achieve production goals.-Ability to work varying shifts and overtime as required.-Works with minimum supervision.- May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.Skills & Knowledge:-Must be able to communicate well within all areas of manufacturing.-Must understand manufacturing process, scheduling, materials, machinery.-Knowledge of how to run all welding equipment and knowledge of welding processes.-Must be able to use and read welding measuring devices to include but not limited to squares, levels and tape measures-Be able to read blue prints-Knowledge of shop math-Ability to use and read measuring instruments-Detail Oriented-Working knowledge of shop scheduling, material provisions, shop layout and process throughputEducation & Experience: -High school diploma or GED.-8+ years manufacturing experience.-Prior ASME vessel weld experience preferred-Must be safety champion.
