Buyer (Akron, Ohio) Our client, a global engineering manufacturer of components and smart sub-systems for aerospace, defense and energy markets, is currently hiring a Contract Buyer.  The Buyer will need to be strong in a cost estimating, including proven experience implementing price increases, in addition, also be skilled with building Bills of Materials.  Responsibilities: Develop MRO BOMs for each component split by work scope, including labor and parts Recommend a clear process for generating quotes by site (single format, included/excluded parts by customer and by work scope) Full evaluation of margins, by cell/customer/component/work scope Recommend a process to capture actuals going forward (Labor, contacts, material and marginFind) Organize and access information for the Aftermarket by MRO part number through CMMs reviews and site interviews with experts Distinguish between all data what is relevant and what is not to draw significant conclusions Willingness to work with unstructured, messy data Solve real problems and publish real insights once you are familiar with the data Requirements: Familiar with ERP systems (Quantum and SAP) Developed process for quoting or pricing of projects, and also pricing and reviewed costing for projects Strong analytical skills MRO experience a plus Cost Estimating background Experience building Bills of Materials (labor and material). In addition, making recommendations on how to maintain these documents and ensure pricing are increased every year or at contact date.  National travel required, 25% - 50%.  Why Kelly®?
