Job DescriptionThis position is responsible for planning, developing and implementing inventory control and material flow processes and systems across the plant in a manner consistent with corporate philosophies and objectives. Provides leadership toward resolving materials management and inventory control issues and leads resolution activities where needed.Tasks:- Maintain daily inventory spreadsheet to ensure it is accurate and up-to-date. E-mail out to all necessary personnel by 10AM each morning.- Each morning compare the daily inventory spreadsheet to the Epicor stock status report to make sure both are matching. Resolve any discrepancies found.- Communicate with customers when their raw materials are received. - Communicate with Freeport Buyer when raw materials need to be ordered. - Enter and Receive purchase orders as needed.- Responsible for making sure the warehouse is stocked with all necessary supplies.- Other duties may be assignedSkills:- Social Perceptiveness - Being aware of others- reactions and understanding why they react as thy do- Time Management - Managing one-s own time and the time of others- Reading Comprehension - Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents- Coordination - Adjusting actions in relation to others- actions- Service Orientation - Actively looking for ways to help people- Active Listening - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate and not interrupting at inappropriate timesAttributes:- Oral Comprehension - The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas through spoken words and sentences- Oral Expression - The ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand- Written Expression - The ability to communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand- Written Comprehension - The ability to read and understand information and ideas in writing- Speech Recognition - The ability to identify and understand the speech of another person- Speech Clarity - The ability to speak clearly so others can understand you- Leadership - Ability to create accountability and to lead by exampleRequirementsExperience and Education:High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or a minimum of one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Computer skills including the ability to prepare spreadsheets and use Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Power Point and/or Access) to analyze data and trends. Knowledge of Epicor ERP systems.
