About this job

On behalf of IMPAQ International, Headway Workforce Solutions is currently seeking Telephone Interviewers to conduct telephone surveys from their call center in Columbia, MD. As a Telephone Interviewer, you will ask questions over the phone regarding Job Corps to participants. Job Corps is the nation’s largest and most comprehensive residential education and job training program for economically challenged youth, ages 16 – 24. The ideal individual for this role will have previous call center or research experience with an excellent telephone interviewing skills.

As a Telephone Interviewer, you will…

  • Read the questions clearly and verbatim to the participant
  • Contact and interview Job Corps participants who have exited the program regarding employment and educational experiences, and satisfaction with the program
  • Must be on the phone the full shift (4 to 6 hours) and comfortable making a high volume of calls with specific time constraints.

Telephone Interviewer Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to read and speak English fluently
  • Excellent listening and communication skills
  • Previous call center or research experience desired
  • Background check required

Benefits of a Telephone Interviewer

Hours & Training

  • Must commit to a minimum 4-hour shift
  • 32 – 40 hours per week
  • Project timeline is from October 20th – November 30th – possibly extension
  • Shifts
    • Monday – Thursday – 5 PM – 12 AM
    • Friday 6 – 11PM
    • Saturday 5 – 9 PM
    • Sunday 6 PM – 12 AM
