The Assistant Manager role will support the exclusive brands marketing leader in the development and implementation of marketing plans that create a positive image for each brand in the Pro exclusive and private brands portfolio.
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
25%- Work closely with the brand marketing teams on customer marketing campaigns and sales tools to increase awareness, adoption and incremental sales of exclusive and private brands
15%- Develop/update brand style guides; act as internal liaison to ensure exclusive brand standards are observed and current logos and other brand assets are updated in the Digital Asset Management system
25%- Work closely with merchandising team in development of marketing collateral and internal communications to support awareness, adoption and incremental sales of exclusive and private brands
20%- Maintain marketing calendar of exclusive/private brand product launches and brand refreshes; ensure exclusive brand informational web sites are current and reflect accurate brand/contact messaging
15%- Maintain the company s intellectual property report and provide required proof of use as marks come up for renewal; conduct related research as needed

Reports to the Marketing Director-Exclusive Brands
ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Environment:
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Travel:
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Additional Environmental Job Requirements: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
Years of Relevant Work Experience: 5 years
Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Proficient in Microsoft Office; design software skills a plus
Demonstrated ability to create compelling content that drives desired outcome/action
Keen analytical skills to interpret/draw insights from product sales reports
Strong attention to detail in order to effectively proofread files and documents is essential
Proven ability to multi-task a variety of projects in a high production environment, with limited oversight
Ability to work well and communicate verbally with people at all levels, both internally and externally
Perform at maximum efficiency in order to stay on the established production schedules
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:* Strong collaboration abilities, teamwork and interdepartmental communication skills are critical to the success of this position
