Dickens Village, Wardrobe

Overview:

This area is staffed by 3 people who maintain costumes and wigs for staff. In addition they will also handle the primary needs of those employed as Santa.

Essential Functions:

• Repairing costumes
• Wig work (styling/cleaning wigs and facial applications)
• Maintaining appropriate cleaning schedule (laundry delivery & pick up)
• Inventory and assign costumes to employees – including alterations for each costume

Qualifications:

Education/Experience :

• Costume and Wig experience required

Communication Skills:

• Knowledge of a second language helpful
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Reasoning Ability:

• Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must be able to multitask in a fast paced environment
• Present a professional image consistent with Macy's brand values

Physical Demands:

• Prolonged standing may be required

Other Skills:

• Knowledge of costumes and wigs
• Basic sewing skills
• Ability to maintain the high standard of appearance for all costumes and wigs
• Demonstrate team work ethic

Work Hours:

• Flexible with scheduling and available to work retail hours which may include day, evening, weekends and/or holidays
