Entry Level Maintenance Tech - Full-time

Job Title:                 Maintenance Technician, Entry Level

Supervisor:             Facilities Manager

Classification:    Non-Exempt

Salary Range:    $10.00-10.50/hour

Position Description:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean appearance of UMOM facilities, the turning of client rooms, completion of work orders, as well as the general and preventative maintenance of UMOM Facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Maintains and repair facilities including a broad spectrum of repairs and maintenance to all UMOM owned facilities.
2. Insure that all lighting is in proper repair.
3. Ensure all work orders are completed in a timely manner.
4. Ensure that major systems are operational and maintained in proper fashion and handle repairs throughout UMOM property.
5. Completes all resident room turns to UMOM standards.
6. Ensure UMOM property is free of trash and trip hazards.
7. Comply with established agency policies and procedures.
8. Notifies manager of safety issues.
9. Serve as on-call 1 week per month.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry and building maintenance preferred
• Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card or the ability to obtain one.
• 100/300 level car insurance required.
• Valid AZ Driver License
• Ability to lift 30-40 pounds
• Ability to drive a box truck
• Ability to work in both inside and in the Arizona heat and cold
