Do you love meeting people and finding ways to help them? Are you great at staying organized and making plans? How well do you know Venice and the hot spots of LA?

The Guest Experience Ambassador is the go-to person for all of our guests’ needs and travel plans. It is your job to greet and make each guest feel welcomed while shaping their time in Venice Beach to be a personalized and unique experience. No two guests are exactly the same, and so the service you provide shouldn’t be either. Help our guests explore Venice and the LA area in a way that is customized for them while they stay at Hotel Erwin. 

Job requirements:

  • Use your creative brain to arrange fun and engaging guest activations and special projects, while staying on the Venice Beach and Hotel Erwin brand. Must be proactive, take constructive feedback, work independently and be able to meet deadlines.
  • Resolve customer issues or complaints and anticipate potential problems by reviewing and monitoring complaints together with various operational issues to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Investigate and create relationships with local businesses to seek out the remarkable, memorable, and most flavorful, for an “in-the-know” exceptional guest experience.
  • Coordinate and work effectively with other in-house departments like the Front Desk, Food and Beverage, Housekeeping, and Sales and Catering.
  • Create a variety of written and creative content for guest recommendations and correspondence. Must have excellent oral and written English communication skills and have the ability to work with all levels of associates.

This is a full time position that will include weekends. Flexible hours required based on our hotel needs and special events. Time will be split between the lobby interaction with guests and office work.

Fundamentals

A high school education or equivalent experience, with one-year previous customer service- related experience is required. Effective verbal and written English communication skills are required, with a second language helpful. This position requires occasional lifting and pulling up to 20 pounds.
