The Business Intelligence Specialist is responsible for execution of master data processes, verifying data integrity across systems, and providing reporting and supporting projects as a subject matter expert. In addition, the incumbent is also responsible for data entry process workflow and other support functions.
- Performs master data and hierarchy maintenance
- Ensures accuracy across systems and completes documentation of master data processes and procedures
- Assures data integrity across systems
- Partners with IT team for troubleshooting issues, testing system upgrades and system enhancements including writing and completing test plans and documentation
- Provides reporting to business users in an accurate and timely manner
- Completes daily workflow tasks
- Participate in projects as a subject matter expert when applicable
Qualifications
Education: Associate's Degree or higher in related discipline such as Business Finance Accounting or IS. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Years of Related Experience: Typically has 2-4 years of experience.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Consumer Packaged Goods industry knowledge preferred.
- SAP knowledge preferred
- Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint Outlook and Access)
- Demonstrated clear understanding of systems
- Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
- Effective time management skills
- Process and detail oriented
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starter / takes initiative
