Job summary

Assist supervisor and crew with maintenance and operation of all lifts, with an emphasis on electrical and electronic component maintenance. Maintains all aspects of lift electrical and electronic control systems.

Summary of essential job functions

  • Assist management and crew of all phases of lift maintenance
  • Troubleshoot and repair of all lift electrical and electronic malfunctions, Time Critical.
  • Create/Maintain accurate and up-to-date electrical maintenance logs
  • Study, learn and practice; State & Federal Codes and Training pertaining to lift maintenance
  • Maintain interest in learning electronic abilities pertaining to the electrical components of Lift Maintenance  
  • Perform all daily, weekly, monthly, and annual Lift Checks as required by Manufacture and State law.
  • Provide inventory and inspection for critical electronic components
  • Other Duties as assigned

Minimum requirements

-     High School graduate or equivalent.
-     Must have adequate computer skills to complete the functions of the job. Typical programs include Microsoft Word, Excel, and Lift Access Program
-     Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, expressing ideas clearly and actively listen to thoughts and ideas of others.
-     Must be professional and personable and able to relate well with employees at all levels.
-     Must have excellent organization and time management skills.

-     Must posses valid Drivers License
-     Must be flexible and able to handle multiple priorities, with the ability to adjust to high pressure and rapidly changing business conditions.
-     Must be able to pay attention to detail and strong reasoning ability.

-     Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions.

Abilities required

  • Intermediate knowledge electrical circuits, currents and how electricity works.
  • Able to read and use Voltage Meters and oscilloscopes.
  • Physically able to climb, lift 50+lbs, maneuver, and work on lift towers in extreme weather conditions with out aid.
  • Physically able to ride snowmobiles on mountain terrain groomed and un-groomed.
  • Must have strong knowledge of chair lift system operations [i.e. fixed grip chair lifts, high speed detachable quads, etc.]
  • Basic understanding of weather conditions and patterns, for the safety of public.
