POSITION SUMMARY:

This position will perform routine maintenance and repairs. This position also includes responsibility for troubleshooting and repair of process related issues, mechanical issues and electrical issues. These duties will also include compressor monitoring and maintenance, station loss control, monitoring of pipeline integrity, VOC monitoring and any other duties requested by supervision. The position will have the ability to give assistance to construction, other maintenance personnel and operations on an as needed basis.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Monitoring of engine and compression performance

* Scheduled maintenance and repair of equipment.

* Maintain engine performance records.

* Insure environmental compliance in areas of responsibility.

* Maintain and record compressor run data sheets and station check sheets.

* Control and minimize repair expense through strong preventative maintenance plan.

* Reporting any unsafe condition or situation that would compromise the integrity of any Markwest equipment or locations.

* Maintaining clean and safe working environment.

* Making any or all repairs as deemed reasonable and safe.

* Plant and Compressor station operations and automation.

* Operating a company vehicle

* Maintaining the company vehicle and equipment at all times to ensure safety to him and the equipment that he will operate.

* Order equipment as needed

SUPERVISORY DUTIES:

Yes. Supervise contract crews.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

* Must have integrity while representing MarkWest Energy.

* 5 years of industry experience.

* Self-motivated with the ability to work well with others.

* Strong organizational and supervisory skills,

* Ability to train and motivate others.

* Ability to coordinate, prioritize and execute many tasks at once.
