POSITION SUMMARY:
This position will perform any plant or system operations maintenance and technical issues related to MarkWest Energy. These duties will include but are not limited to all technical and SCADA related issues in Oklahoma.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Maintaining and troubleshooting PLC based control systems
* Maintaining and repairing all software automations related issues
* Installing, calibrating, and maintaining any electrical or instrument devices related to MarkWest Energy facilities
* Maintaining operation and repairs of all plant analyzers including but not limited to gas chromatographs and moisture analyzers
* Maintaining, calibrating and repairing control and shutdown valves including tasks such as replacing valve trim and positioners
* Plant and Pipeline SCADA systems troubleshooting and maintenance
* Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair wireless communications systems
* Maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing field Compressor stations and other field facilities as required
* Minor and major electrical and software maintenance
* Maintaining accurate records of Shutdown and Safety checks
* Maintaining scheduled preventative maintenance programs on instrumentation and electrical equipment
* Maintaining all required documentation for process safety management
* Operating a company vehicle
* Reporting any unsafe condition or situation that would compromise the integrity of any MarkWest equipment or locations
* Maintaining clean and safe working environment for plant operations
* Making any or all repairs as deemed reasonable and safe.
* Maintaining the company vehicle at all times to ensure safety to employee and the equipment that he will operate.
* Maintaining the tools and equipment issued
* Take call on a regular basis (approximately two weeks every other month)
* Work weekends and nights on an as needed basis
* Ordering software, electrical & Instrument parts as needed for contractors
SUPERVISORY DUTIES:
Yes, supervise contract crews.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
* 5-10 years of applicable experience.
* Self motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
* Strong organizational skills.
* Ability to work well with others.
* Ability to coordinate, prioritize and execute many tasks at once.
